Wheelchair tennis is included in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, which will take place from August 30 to September 7 at the Roland Garros Stadium, known for its clay courts. The competition includes singles and doubles matches in men’s, women’s, and quads categories. Each National Paralympic Committee (NPC) has specific rules for athlete participation, with a maximum of 11 qualification slots available. These slots allow for up to four male and four female athletes in singles events, three athletes in quad singles, two teams in men's and women's doubles, and one team in quad doubles. The slots are awarded directly to athletes, who must be ranked in the Wheelchair Tennis Singles World Ranking List. Additionally, athletes must have participated in the World Team Cup at least twice between 2021 and 2024, with one event being in 2023 or 2024.

Wheelchair tennis has become one of the most popular sports globally, combining the traditional elements of tennis with unique adaptations. Since its Paralympic debut at the 1992 Barcelona Games, wheelchair tennis has been a key part of adaptive sports competitions. It has been included in major tennis tournaments since 2007, with matches held alongside traditional events at Grand Slam tournaments such as the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open.
