Russia’s state communications watchdog Roskomnadzor stated on Friday that it was taking punitive measures towards a string of overseas IT firms, together with TikTok, Telegram, Zoom, Discord and Pinterest.

In an announcement, Roskomnadzor stated that the measures have been in response to the businesses’ failure to take away content material that it had flagged as unlawful, and would stay in place till they complied. It didn’t specify what measures can be taken.
