PepsiCo India to take a position ₹186 crore in U.P. unit

PepsiCo India stated it will additional make investments ₹186 crore for the enlargement of its meals manufacturing facility in Mathura, taking the general funding to ₹1,022 crore in Uttar Pradesh.

As a part of its enlargement plan, PepsiCo India will improve the capability of the meals plant, by organising a brand new manufacturing line which is able to produce nacho chip model Doritos, the corporate stated.

Ahmed ElSheikh, president, PepsiCo India, stated, “The progressive ecosystem and industrial local weather in Uttar Pradesh has yielded some unbelievable alternatives for PepsiCo India. Due to the industry-friendly insurance policies and ease of doing enterprise within the state, we achieved a serious milestone of organising our greenfield meals plant in Kosi in lower than two years.”
