Govt. hikes windfall revenue tax on export of diesel, ATF; raises tax on home crude oil

The Authorities has hiked the windfall revenue tax on the export of diesel to ₹13.5 per litre and that on jet gas exports to ₹9 per litre.

On the fourth fortnightly assessment, the federal government raised the windfall revenue tax on the export of diesel to ₹13.5 per litre from ₹7, whereas on ATF (Aviation Turbine Gas) exports, it was hiked to ₹9 per litre from ₹2, in keeping with a Finance Ministry notification issued on Wednesday.
